The Unarchiver is a much more capable replacement for « BOMArchiveHelper.app », the built-in archive unpacker program in Mac OS X. The Unarchiver is designed to handle many more formats than BOMArchiveHelper, and to better fit in with the design of the Finder.

J’utilise ce petit logiciel qui vient s’inscruster tout doucement dans le Finder de Mac OS X et qui permet la décompression d’un nombre incroyable de formats de compression – en particulier les RAR – et le tout gratuitement. L’auteur n’est pas contre un petit don tout de même 
The Unarchiver fonctionne aussi bien sous Tiger (10.4) – testé -, Leopard (10.5) aussi testé et également Snow Leopard – testé également -.
